Obsessed about elegant purposeful design
Durietz Design & Development was started out of our passion to protect, restore and beautify buildings converting them into serene living spaces. Mallorca is our home and dream place to work with its many old beautiful buildings in need of love and care, and all-around environment that perpetually inspires us.
After having done several projects in Gothenburg and Stockholm, our two respective hometowns, we needed a change in life and in the year-end of 2016 we sold everything we had in Sweden and bought a large townhouse in Sóller, Casa Sa Mar. We restored it from the ground up as if it was our very own, decorated to the last detail, and sold it in the beginning of 2018. Next started the painstaking journey to find the next future dream house, Camp Roig 31, which is now in progress. At the same time as we have been working on our “babies” we have been lending our expertise to clients with their own passion projects.
Josephine
With a background in industrial and car design (growing up in the hometown of Volvo), Josephine moved on to architecture, interior design and project management after making the move to Stockholm. Since then she has worked at White architects, JLL and Cushman Wakefield. Before moving to Mallorca she also ran her own interior design consultancy and started a jewelry brand, Piece of Poetry. Nowadays she is creatively responsible at Durietz Design & Development and apart from interiors she also creates art in form of paintings and sculptures.

Christoffer
Christoffer is an MSc in IT and a digital designer, having run his own consultancy for 10 years in Stockholm, working with a multitude of Swedish and international agencies and brands, and concurrently running a 6-man app agency/startup. Always having a deep interest in architecture and interior design he is responsible for architectural drawings, furniture design, and project management at Durietz Design & Development.
